serendipitously, ian and shirley are recommending the side of waits with which i’m less familiar (pre-1982).
i come in at swordfishtrombones and the epoch mission statement of “underground” (“there’s a world going on underground.”) these were the days that followed what the pitchfork review described as the moment he caught a reflection if billy joel in the mirror.
i’m crazy about tom waits.
