Well now that you have my dirty dark secret tucked away in your inbox, I can tell you that the first track of X’s maxi-single was remixed by Paul Oakenfold: a big somebody in techno/dance/electronic(a) music.
I’m no expert and I’m not very familiar with his stuff, but I’ve heard his name around a lot. I think he may have done the soundtrack for John Travolta’s Swordfish, but I could be wrong.
For all those lurking, X = Madonna. Maxi-single equals “What It Feels Like For A Girl.”
Which I am listening to now in Spanish, the ninth track.
