I can confirm that David is well aware of Pedro, having enjoyed more than one of their CDs and a live show alongside him. And that the two Daves are friends.
Speaking for myself, I have to wonder why the hesitancy in your phrasing with “uhhh, unique Christianity”. In conversation with Dave Bazan, I’ve always been impressed by his passionate, considered and articulate faith. He’s a man keenly aware of his weaknesses and working out his faith with fear, trembling and a lot of hope.
