Ah. I suspect we’re using different terminology here, and I hadn’t realised your primary focus was music.
Personally, I’d regard Delirious’ music as MOR worship. Even if the genre is a step away from the traditional in churches (and it’s not much of a jump in most cases) it still fits into traditional forms, acting as a drop-in-replacement for what came before it.
When I think of things away from MOR I tend to be thinking more of approaches such as those showcased at http://www.alternativeworship.org
