I am of the immense good fortune to call Don Miller friend & inspirator & person who showed me the way to Anne Lamott. He talks like he writes: funny and shy and incredibly insightful and gospel-filled and redeeming. He has offended many a Christian at our growing church, but (almost) always to good end. I cannot wait for his next endeavor to come out…
He is about to embark on a very interesting project: 4 months out of the next 3 years, 12 writers will be living in a house in Houston, “re-writing” the Pauline books, a la The Message. Sort of like Real World meets Eugene Peterson meets Christianity Today. Can’t wait for that product.
Anyway, if you ever are able to catch him on a book tour, I highly recommend a stop by for a chat.
