I too am reading Blue Like Jazz. Just read the “Penguin Sex” chapter today.
In my men’s group, we’re going through Mere Christianity.
Also I need to get back to What Love is This?, which is Dave Hunt’s refutation of reformed theology. Some of it’s good, and some not so much.
And I’m taking notes on a seminar by Leonard Sweet on postmodernism and the emerging church. I attended parts of the seminar, but I have it recorded as a 4 cd set and I’ve been comissioned by my pastor to analyze it for possible applications to our church.
