Visions of my Coney Island Baby (based on my previous poem)

Heid considered what the feeling was within his own self, curious as to why he had chosen such a beauty that so many paid their attention to. He had given his all within to catch one glimpse of her beauty and questioned his motives.
Did he wish to win over her by chance, as so many watched? So many wanted to hold her hand to help her down the stage, others wanted to hold her as a fuzzy teddy bear. However, his was transcending the point of mere interest and curiosity. His was attracted to the inward beauty, to the fact that she did not care to set herself among so many other people who didnit not appear so attractive, more grotesque in his eyes.
The princess in the red dress, thatis what she was to him. Heid heard it said before in a song, and contemplated so often about how inspiring it was to him, how he had not truly understand that quote until he saw her.
Her physical beauty was good, her inner strength and fearlessness of the crowd was even greater. She danced so modestly and respectfully while many men cheered and called her name over and over again,
iRegina! Regina! Look at MY eyes, not his!i
But she chose him to make the contact with. Her eyes sparkled above her chin, her bright soul illuminating through her to the point that sudden combustion seemed inevitable. And as the men cheered as the announcer called her name once more, she slowly stepped off the stage and into the mans arms as he carried her outside of the tent and into the manageris office, demanding her let her leave the travelling show due to their sudden yet passionate decision to marry.
iBut sheis the star! You canit just expect me to let her go with any man she chooses!i
iBut he doesi, she replied. iI already know his name, it is Matthew and we are in love, as I have watched his eyes for the last month at every show and his devotion to me.i
iI, however, will not stand for it.i the manager replied. iYou sell my tickets, how will you work?i
Matthew finally interrupted and shouted to her, iDo you contain anyone elseis best interest in mind? She is your most exquisite attraction and yet her soul has captured me! It has endured me for the last month and now, out of a crowd of many men eyeing her infinite beauty, I have decided to take up the role.i
The manager sighed and stared, wondering if there was more to be uttered and preparing for the final bow. He slowly gave a movement with his hand and allowed them to leave, tearing up her contract from behind as they walked off in a distance, out of the tent and into the outside world.
iOh, Matthew, have we made the right decision? Leaving the show?
iOh, Regina. You sold yourself to him but were given to me as my wife. My love, my bearded lady and my life.i
