something else

The gnawing speech of no-one-can-tell-you grinds over the field where two birds dabble in a dirty rain pool amidst the flattened grass.
Wheels of cars rattle rattle on stones in the road and a crashing load on the back of a lorry sends cats into flight over broken bottles where last-night-old men had journeyed home.
Radios fill up the air and pigeons scratch on windowsills and what, what among this imparts the hunger ?
The soul is nearly in the stomach and the heart is nearly in the stomach because all pain feels similar.
The morning so-quietly opens your belly up and you find where you had been pregnant with sorrow, you are giving birth to something else.
