have you ever met anyone who has had an abortion ? it is not often a decision taken lightly and to say that it only boils down ‘selfish convenience’ is lacking compassion to say the least.
i met someone once whose mother almost aborted him. i don’t think he would agree that ‘where there is 1 or 10000 makes little difference’. i don’t think the mothers who have agonised over their decision to have an abortion would agree with that either.
try not to be too cynical. i know it is ironic that i should say that :) but there is much good out there and a life saved is a whole world.
