The left of whose centre? The centre in US politics is distinctly to the right of, say, European politics.
Either way, I’m to the left of it. I believe in society, that we should be aiming to live as a community and to support one another therein, and that taxation is better spent on welfare than warfare.
(or something more nuanced than that)
