i’m totally with you on the fireside ghost thing, and on the window-flaming-red thing. i have to say that my favorite driving song on that album would be "tony." holy crap. i really miss fireplaces. my wife and i are finishing up school in florida, but we are moving to maine. i can’t wait to chop wood and garden and live the annie dillard-described life. i grew up in both maine and new hampshire, so, it’s not going to be different, but it’s been close to four years since i’ve really experienced a good fall. who else do you listen to, or what are you reading right now? i’m in the middle of The Power and the Glory by Graham Greene, but i am going to finish Kathleen Norris’ "Amazing Grace" next. i love that book, so far. i love that kind of writing.
