hey all! this is my first time ever on these boards…and to tell you the truth its the first time ive ever even heard of sarah masen. many apologies! my loss! i claim myself as a gergantic fan of the band switchfoot and as i was roaming their boards earlier, i came across links upon links which eventually led me to sarah’s site. ive listened to Here We Go numerous times now in the past hour and i found it fun that this song is the featured tune on her site today. anyway, i dont have the lyrics however i could probably locate them for you but the thing i was wondering about was this: “For those of you who haven’t checked out Switchfoot, the time may be now. They are a fantastic band from San Diego and the lead singer happens to be my brother-in-law. He has written a few albums worth of very fine music, with incredibly thoughtful lyrics and ridiculously rock-n-roll dance-around-the-house-melodies. ‘Here We Go’ is a song he wrote to pitch to Mandy Moore (obviously so), and doesn’t necessarily represent his innermost convictions about art, life and the reverence of the written word….”
I found this quote on sarahs Featured Songs and Rarities page…ANYway, the part im wondering about is the brother-in-law part. is this a relation to jon thru jon’s wife? when i read this, i was lets just say confused. it actually doesnt matter one bit but…like i said i was just wondering
