Hey, y’all! What you need is a piece of software called “Exact Audio Copy”. ( http://www.exactaudiocopy.de ) Last time I checked it was available as freeware online. Kinda tweaky to use, though.
It lets you manually detect “gaps” on the CD, including pre-track gaps. You then extract a range going from -3:31.22 seconds to zero seconds of track one.
It took me a couple hours too, and that’s not including previous attempts with other software. Isn’t technology great? It makes our lives so much easier… ;>
